Ask Me About Hope is one of Refreshment UK’s twelve signature Mission Programmes, but the one that is most accessible for all members of a church looking for ways to share faith. We are delighted to be able to offer this to individuals and churches as a fruitful and effective way to get involved in mission.
The concept is simple, but works. Using teaching from 1 Peter 3:15 about being ready to give an explanation for the hope you have, the short two-hour training session is split into three 30-minute workshop activities:
-
USING YOUR EYES AND EARS IN MISSION – meeting people where they are
-
USING YOUR MOUTH ON MISSION – sharing testimony and Hope that frees
-
USING YOUR HANDS ON MISSION – always pointing to the local church
Following that two-hour training, we are confident that attendees would be able to use Ask Me About Hope and Refreshment will commission you as a ‘mission practitioner’ to use this programme to share Jesus in your local area.
The cost commitment to the programme is small. We use the T-shirts (retailing at £12 each) and two hours of your time. We can offer weekly support through online training, support ministry in local hub areas, offer activities to join together for group outreach on the streets, and further outreach material for churches to use.
We can share you lots of testimonies of how this works – healings, salvation, deliverance and conversations, and a few rejections – but Ask Me About Hope is an easy way to move Christians from their seats to the streets.
Churches – book one of our trainers for a two-hour session in your local area via here.
Individuals – attend one of our training sessions to be found below.
